Colourful Fun at The Barn at Pengelly's
The Barn at Pengelly's is one of Cornwall's newest wedding venues, opening in May 2022 this contemporary barn is nestled in the heart of the rolling Cornish countryside amidst lakes and wildflower fields. The barn gives you freedom and a blank canvas to curate your wedding day exactly how you envision from design, colours, and suppliers.
I have photographed a fair few weddings here now and each one is so different but one thing that has always been consistent is how amazing all of the staff are, they are kind, efficient, and guaranteed to make your day just that bit brighter and stress-free!
The getting ready
This venue, although quite remote ( which I think is lovely when it comes to a wedding! ) has plenty of cottage accommodation within walking distance to the barn with a gorgeous little courtyard. Perfect for photo opportunity before you head of to your ceremony. Also, if you're wanting a festival vibes wedding they have outdoor camping available for guests too which is super fun.
The venue steps
A statement spot at this wedding venue and from a photographers point of view, a great please to get some super special photos. The different levels, different angles. Oh yes, and a confetti tunnels going down the stairs, STUNNING.
The Ceremony
One of many perks of choosing Pengelly's for your wedding venue is that you have the option to choose and indoor or outdoor ceremony. ( I mean just look at the pergola outside, something out of a fairy tale!) Both inside and outside options here are absolutely gorgeous, they actually have 3 licenced areas where you can say you I do's so there is lots of flexibility
The Grounds
The Pengelly's Barn outdoor grounds give you so much room for opportunities to have as much fun and creativity as you like! Just like Annie, Calum and their bridal/groomsmen party all getting involved with smoke bombs. Of course pink to go with this super cute theme.
